The Regulatory Foundations Checklist complements the Regulator Maturity Model and self-assessment tool. It helps regulators check if they have the essential capabilities to support regulatory activities. These foundations align with the capability domains and reference relevant government frameworks and policies.
The checklist uses yes/no questions and links to resources for addressing gaps. Regulators may complete it at the enterprise level or for a specific function. Collaboration across teams is recommended and responsibility should be assigned to one person or team to coordinate.
