The Digital ID and Verifiable Credentials Strategy sets out the nationally agreed strategic direction and priorities for digital ID and verifiable credentials in Australia. Developed jointly by the Commonwealth, state and territory governments, the strategy provides a cohesive national approach to making it easier and safer for people and organisations to access services, while minimising the sharing of personal information and supporting greater control over how information is used.
