Keynote

Dr Paul Robards, Chief Data Integration Officer, Department of Defence
Dr Robards is the Chief Data Integration Office for Defence. He is responsible for the Defence Data Strategy and the OneDefence Data platform, which will enable Defence to better govern, trust, discover and use data. He is also responsible for the Defence Artificial Intelligence Centre (DAIC), which will accelerate the adoption of AI in Defence, and ensure appropriate governance and assurance.

Rebecca Fealy, Assistant Commissioner, Intelligence and Assessment Centre, Fraud and Criminal Behaviours Australian Taxation Office
Rebecca is currently addressing tax evasion using risk detection and compliance interventions. Rebecca has led work across data and analytics at the Australian Taxation Office, Prime Minister and Cabinet, and the Department of Health and Aged Care, and has represented Australia internationally on data and financial crime initiatives.

Brendan Moon, First Assistant Secretary, Child Care Integrity Division, Department of Education
Brendan is currently driving a significant program of reform to both uphold the integrity of government payments and uplift the safety and quality of early education and care in Australia. Brendan has led large programs across social security, health, aged care, employment, veteran experience reform and a range of other policy areas.

Dr Gatra Priyandita, Cyber diplomacy, geopolitics of technology and cyber, Indonesia, Southeast Asian security, technology and cyber policy in Southeast Asia
Dr Priyandita's primary research area is in cyber diplomacy and the geopolitics of critical technology. He also provides commentary on foreign and defence policy issues in Southeast Asia. A political scientist by training, Gatra specialises in the intersections of comparative politics, cybersecurity, and international relations. He is currently a Visiting Fellow at the Australian National University’s Coral Bell School of Asia Pacific Affairs and an International Strategy Fellow with the Special Competitive Studies Project.
