Finance is responsible for providing policy advice, guidance and support on managing Commonwealth property, land and public works across the Australian Government.
This also includes the:
- management and administration of key property legislation and policy responsibilities;
- whole-of-government arrangements for property services;
- divestment of Finance-owned properties and support to entity’s own divestment;
- Finance-owned estate;
- selected major capital works projects;
- Australian Government Property Register data collection;
- remediation works; and
- management of National Land.
