Commonwealth Fleet Composition of Leased and Owned Vehicles

As at 31 December 2025, the Commonwealth Fleet Profile has an indicative asset value of $943m across 25,544 vehicles. Of these, 24 percent of assets are being leased, and 76 percent are owned assets.

Commonwealth Fleet Profile by Asset Classification

The fleet arrangement covers a range of asset types, including vehicles and equipment used for commercial purposes. Passenger vehicles comprise 13 percent of the current Commonwealth fleet across leased and owned assets.

Commonwealth Fleet Passenger Low Emission Vehicles (LEV)

As at 31 December 2025, 30 percent of Passenger vehicles (including SUVs) are either battery electric vehicles or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.
