Connecting with Indigenous businesses at Supply Nation’s Connect 2025

Exhibition centre event

The Department of Finance (Finance) was proud to participate in Supply Nation’s Connect 2025, Australia’s leading supplier diversity event, held at the International Convention Centre in Sydney on 20—21 August 2025.

The event brought together Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses, government buyers and corporate organisations to build connections, share knowledge and explore pathways for greater participation in government procurement.

Staff from across Finance engaged with a wide range of Indigenous businesses and stakeholders to discuss how they can access Australian Government procurement opportunities. Conversations centred around the Indigenous Procurement Policy (IPP) and promoting Selling to Government resources such as information for Indigenous businesses, case studies, practical guides and the newly released video series to help business get procurement ready.
