The Finance People Capability Framework outlines the behaviours, skills, and knowledge required to successfully perform your role. It also includes the behaviours that Finance values and rewards.
The framework is designed to drive performance and build talent by providing you with clear and consistent performance expectations at each classification.
Parts of the framework
Core capabilities
Core capabilities apply to all roles and classifications. They describe how you work and what good performance looks like.
The core capabilities are:
- Lead
- Collaborate
- Achieve
- Think
- Learn

Professional and technical capabilities
Professional and technical capabilities focus on the skills, qualifications and experience you need for your role. These capabilities are described under ‘Know’.
Using the framework
When you apply for a role at Finance, you use the framework to show how your skills and experience match the role. You can align your experience to both the People Capability Framework and the role-specific capabilities.
