Career Starter Program

Kick-start a permanent, full‑time career in the Australian Government through our 12‑month Career Starter Program. You will gain meaningful, real‑world experience in a government role while working towards a Certificate IV qualification. With strong support from experienced senior APS staff, the program helps you build practical skills and confidence to launch a successful APS career.

Digital Emerging Talent Programs

Still studying or recently graduated in data or digital? Start your digital career at Finance as a digital cadet or digital graduate.

Australian Science Policy Fellowship Program

Scientists can spend up to 12 months at Finance through the Australian Science Policy Fellowship Program, gaining policy experience in government and professional development supported by the Office of the Chief Scientist.
