Inclusive recruitment

Affirmative measures

Under the APS Commissioner's Directions 2022, some roles or recruitment processes will be open only to:

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, or
  • People with disability

These affirmative measures help improve access to jobs, address inequitable employment outcomes, and support alternative pathways for candidates to be considered equitably, contributing to a more diverse workplace.
