Australian Government Guidelines on Information and Advertising Campaigns by non-corporate Commonwealth entities

The Australian Government Interim Guidelines on Information and Advertising Campaigns (Guidelines) take effect from July 2022. They provide a framework for the conduct of all publicly-funded information and advertising campaigns by non-corporate Commonwealth entities.

Finance is responsible for supporting the administration of the Guidelines. Entities should engage the Communications Advice Branch of Finance early in the development of campaigns to ensure that relevant requirements are met.

Non-corporate Commonwealth entities under the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013  (PGPA Act) must comply with the Australian Government Interim Guidelines on Information and Advertising Campaigns (Guidelines).
