Finance is committed to supporting employees in the workplace to navigate their health and wellbeing. You are able to access a range of support services while you explore your needs to ensure your health and wellbeing both at work and home. This includes accessing free and confidential psychological counselling through the Employee Assistance Program, accessing facilities that support your physical health, and facilities that enable you to meet your caring responsibilities and family needs.
Health and wellbeing events
Finance offers a range of programs each year to support your health and wellbeing. These programs focus on your mental health, social wellbeing and physical health.
Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free, confidential service available to support employees and their immediate family members navigate the challenges of everyday life.
The EAP provide a range of services relating to:
- psychological counselling
- manager assistance
- financial counselling
- legal assistance
- dietary and exercise support
Building facilities
Finance is based in Canberra at One Canberra Avenue, with limited staffing in other major capital cities around Australia.
The One Canberra Avenue building includes:
- a café in the main atrium
- restaurants and shops within walking distance
- an onsite gym
- a safe and quiet carer's rooms space where you can work while caring for a dependant, when usual care is temporarily unavailable
