The stocktake provides visibility of the spread of regulatory functions across the Australian Government and supports greater transparency on the issuing of Ministerial Statements of Expectations (SOEs) and Regulator Statements of Intentions (SOIs).
Regulatory functions are listed by portfolio with a short summary on regulator function, whether they are internal to a department or an external entity, relevant legislation, regulated community and links to SOEs and SOIs where available.
