Regulator function

The Offshore Infrastructure Registrar is responsible for the management of offshore renewable energy infrastructure and electricity transmission infrastructure licences in Commonwealth waters, by providing expert advice and recommendations on applications, overseeing compliance and administration, and maintaining a register of licences in accordance with the OEI Act.
