Civil penalties relating to the Unique Student Identifier initiative (USI).

Legislation
  • Student Identifiers Act 2014
Regulated community
  • Individuals who apply for a USI or who authorise a third party to apply for a USI on their behalf.
  • Individuals and entities (including third parties) that access or provide vocational education and training transcripts or extracts, including students, higher education providers, registered training organisations and governments.
  • Any person whose conduct is liable to a civil penalty under Part 3A of the Student Identifiers Act 2014.
