Dr Ian Watt AC has been appointed to undertake a high level, independent, arms-length review of KPMG. The review will examine relevant aspects of KPMG’s culture, ethics, integrity and governance to assess the firm's ethical soundness.
Dr Watt is a highly respected former public servant, having been Secretary of the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet and head of the Australian Public Service, as well as Secretary of the Departments of Defence, Finance and Communications, Information Technology and the Arts. Dr Watt has previously delivered reviews for the Australian and State and Territory Governments in a range of complex areas.
