The Department of Finance has launched its Data Strategy 2025-28.
The Data Strategy sets out our vision to leverage data to influence and enhance our advice to government, strengthen our stewardship role and improve service delivery.
The Data Strategy focuses on four dimensions that will support us to deliver our vision:
- people and capability
- data governance
- data management and practices
- technologies, tools and analytics.
Supported by annual action plans that detail key initiatives and activities to ensure progress, the Data Strategy reflects a collective view of Finance’s data maturity ambitions over the next three years.
