Statutory Review of the Data Availability and Transparency Act 2022 – Final Report

The Data Availability and Transparency Act 2022 required that an initial review of its operation commence by 1 April 2025 and be completed within 12 months.

Dr Stephen King led the Review, which commenced on 27 March 2025.

The statutory review of the Data Availability and Transparency Act 2022 (the Review) was provided to the Minister for Finance on 11 November 2025. The Government is considering its response to the Review.
