2025 APS Employee Census Results

The APS Employee Census provides valuable insights into workforce priorities, including engagement, leadership, communication, innovation, and overall impressions of the APS, and Finance's agency-level highlights report, summarises these results.

Finance achieved a strong participation rate of 89 per cent, which gives us confidence that the overall response is representative of our people and sets a sound basis for impactful action planning.

Our 2025 Census results confirm that Finance continues to perform strongly compared to the APS overall. At the same time, we remain committed to continuous improvement and looking ahead. We have identified three focus areas to help us perform at our best, foster commitment and success, and ensure a safe and inclusive workplace for all.

Building on this our Finance Census Action Plan 2025-2028 outlines targeted actions that will further strengthen our performance and workplace culture.
