Welcome to the Department of Finance Annual Report 2016–17. This is the Secretary’s report to the Minister for Finance on the department’s performance for the financial year 2016–17.
The report has been prepared in accordance with Resource Management Guide No. 135: Annual reports for non-corporate Commonwealth entities.
It reports on results achieved against the purposes and performance criteria published in the department’s corporate plan 2016–17, the Portfolio Budget Statements 2016–17 and the Portfolio Additional Estimates Statements 2016–17.
