Australian Academy of the Humanities

The Academy of the Humanities is an independent, not-for-profit organisation which maintains a Fellowship of over 730 humanities leaders. The Academy routinely provides humanities expertise and advice on complex national and international matters at public, institutional and government levels - working both independently and as part of specially-convened multidisciplinary teams. Examples of recently authored reports include Australia’s China Knowledge Capability (2023) and Future Humanities Workforce (2023). Examples of recent reports where the Academy was a convening and/or contributing author include: the Rapid Research Report, Generative AI (for National Science and Technology Committee) (2023) and Ensuring Occupations are Responsive to People with Disability (for DSS) (2022).
