The Parenting Research Centre (PRC) (www.parentingrc.org.au) is an independent, non-profit organisation that helps children thrive by advising on new and better ways to support families in their parenting.

We have 25 years of experience in the fields of early childhood, health, education, disability, and welfare putting the best evidence on parenting and family support into action. As a trusted leader in knowledge and practice expertise related to parenting, we are engaged by government and non-government agencies to create new knowledge and support development of services, resources, and policy.

The PRC provides agencies with end-to-end design, adaptation, implementation, research, and evaluation of policies, programs, and practice including policy, practice advice and governance solutions.

We have a strong history in effective collaboration and partnering including our world class partnership with the Centre for Community Child Health, Murdoch Children’s Research Institute with whom we operate the Raising Children Network. Since 2006, the Raising Children Network has provided independent, trusted, and engaging support for parents, carers, kin and professionals across Australia and internationally. The Raising Children Network is frequently called on by the Australian Government to lend its expertise to effectively communicate with mass parent audiences. Its website www.raisingchildren.net.au receives 115,000+ visits per day.
