Finance has published a series of short videos to help businesses navigate Australian Government procurement and contracting opportunities.
The videos have been designed to provide simple, clear and practical guidance, including useful tips to support businesses better understand Australian Government procurement and contracting.
The new video series covers a range of essential procurement topics, including:
- opportunities to sell to the Australian Government
- where to start, including preparing for and responding to an Approach to Market
- how the Australian Government purchases goods and services
- understanding panel arrangements
- the different ways government organisations approach the market, and
- what to expect if you win or do not win a contract.
By helping more businesses competitively tender for Australian Government contracts we are creating a wider cross-section of providers which in turn will deliver economic and social benefits to regions, industry sectors and communities.

The website contains information for businesses about how to discover and compete for Australian Government procurement contracts. It also contains guidance on specific requirements in procurement processes and information for managing contracts and relationships if you win work.
