The Central Budget Management System (CBMS)
CBMS is the system used to manage the flow of financial information between Finance and Australian Government agencies to facilitate agency cash and appropriation management, the preparation of budget documentation and financial reporting.
CBMS modules are used for Appropriation and Cash Management (ACM), Annual Estimates updates (BEAM), Monthly Estimates Profiles (BEAM), Monthly and Annual Reporting (BEAM) and recording of Budget measures (BPCD).
CBMS Redevelopment Project
The Government announced in the 2010-11 Budget that it will comprehensively redevelop the Central Budget Management System (CBMS). The CBMS is the core whole-of-government ICT system underpinning the budget and financial management of the Australian Government.

CBMS Training and Support
Training courses for the Central Budget Management System (CBMS) are scheduled according to the budget process timetable and user demand. Details of training courses scheduled are emailed to all users on a monthly basis.
