I previously released drafts of the new Commonwealth Contracting Suite (CCS) documents for comment and the response has been very encouraging. The CCS documents aim to simplify the process for Commonwealth procurements under $200,000.

In March and April my team visited most major centres and spoke to agencies and suppliers on how to use the suite.  This additional consultation process enabled potential users to contribute further comments and valuable suggestions at each session.

I thank all respondents for taking the time to contribute to an improved product.

All contributions have now been incorporated into final drafts.  Today I am inviting you to participate in a last review of the documents before implementation from 1 July this year. I welcome and encourage your feedback.

The Suite is available using the links below. Please submit your comments via this blog (publicly viewable) or confidentially to haveyoursay.procurement@finance.gov.au

This final consultation stage will close at close of business next Tuesday (20 May 2014).
