Vehicle Leasing & Fleet Management
The Australian Government Fleet team (AGF) is a business unit within the Department of Finance. The AGF is responsible for administering the contracts for the provision of motor vehicle fleet management and leasing services to Australian Government (Government) Entities. sgfleet is the fleet manager under this arrangement.
It is mandatory for all Non-Corporate Commonwealth Entities (NCCEs) subject to the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act) to source their vehicle leasing and fleet management services under the contractual arrangements administered by the AGF.
Corporate Commonwealth Entities (CCEs) can opt in to the Arrangements and take advantage of the benefits associated with the contract. Interested CCEs should contact the AGF for further information.
The AGF is available to answer any questions you may have on Australian Government motor vehicle leasing arrangements.
The Fleet Services Contract (FSC) between the Commonwealth and sgfleet commenced on 1 February 2013 with an initial term of six and a half years.
Copies of the latest version of the FSC are available to participating entities through Govdex* or on request to the AGF.
*Govdex is a service managed by Online Services Branch and provides a secure online collaboration service for Australian government entities.
The Australian Public Service Commission is responsible for issuing advice to entities concerning the Executive Vehicle Scheme .
A plain English “User Guide” for the FSC is available to assist Fleet Managers to understand the FSC. Participating entities can access the latest version of the User Guide on the sgfleet secure website.
