Cross-Agency Services Architecture Principles
Publication Summary
The Cross-Agency Services Architecture Principles have been developed in support of the specific requirements of the 2006 e-Government Strategy, as an aid for agencies in the architecture development and design of cross-agency services, regardless of whether they are supported by IT systems and infrastructure. These principles form part of the platform of the Australian Government Architecture (AGA).
The scope of these principles includes services that are delivered entirely within the boundaries of the combined Commonwealth Agencies, along with composite services delivered by the Commonwealth and other service providers including other jurisdictions and the private sector.
These services architecture principles are managed by the Department of Finance and Administration, through AGIMO, in consultation with the Chief Information Officers Committee and the Australian Government Services Architecture Working Group.
This release of the principles was endorsed by the Chief Information Officers Committee on 14 December 2006.
