Arrangements for facilitating trans-Tasman government institutional co-operation

Publication Summary

The Department of Finance and Administration (Finance) and the New Zealand Ministry of Economic Development released a paper on 22 April 2007 entitled Arrangements for facilitating trans-Tasman government institutional co-operation.

The aim of the paper is to develop options to support trans-Tasman co-operation between the two countries.

It does this by examining the range of government interactions that currently take place, and drawing on these interactions to develop a set of principles that can be considered when entering into a new interaction, or reviewing existing arrangements.
