Guides for business
Australian Government e-Authentication Framework - checklist for business
The checklist for business is targeted at small businesses and managers responsible for overseeing information technology (IT) security. It provides an introduction to e-authentication and the AGAF by detailing the issues businesses need to consider when conducting a transaction online with the government. The checklist also outlines activities a business can undertake to reduce the risks associated with online transactions. It is not intended to be a comprehensive guide, but rather aims to introduce and highlight the key non-technical issues for business.
Australian Government e-Authentication Framework - implementation guide for business
The implementation guide for business provides more detailed explanations of the activities a business should undertake when interacting with government agencies online. To assist businesses in these activities, the guide includes a step by step description of the processes a business should follow to implement the AGAF. At each step, relevant information is provided in tutorial form (to enable quick assimilation of the information) and/or as checklists (to help apply the information to specific circumstances). Where technical detail is needed, there are links to resources provided in related guides or by other organisations.
