Asset Sales

Asset Sales output covers the management of, and the provision of advice to The Government on major asset sales.

Generally, there are two types of assets sales:

1. Trade sale – sale by way of tender (eg ADI Limited, Sydney Airports Corporation Limited); and
2. Public Float – sale to institutional and retail investors of shares in a company which is listed, or subsequently listed, on a securities exchange (eg Commonwealth Bank, Telstra).
