The Government’s procurement policy framework comprises several key elements: the Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines (CPGs); Finance Circulars; and a range of other documents to assist agencies to implement the Government’s procurement policy.
Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines
Issued under Regulation 7 of the Financial Management and Accountability Regulations 1997 by the Minister for Finance and Deregulation, establish the procurement policy framework.

Finance Circulars, issued by the Department of Finance and Deregulation (Finance), advise of key changes and developments in the Government’s procurement policy framework.
