Grants Policy
The Commonwealth Grant Guidelines (CGGs) establish the grants policy and reporting framework for all departments and agencies (agencies) subject to the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997 (FMA Act).
Finance Circulars – Grants
- 2009/03 – Grants and other common financial arrangements - provides further guidance to FMA Act agencies on how to distinguish between a grant and other common types of financial arrangements.
- 2009/04 – Grants - Reporting Requirements - provides further guidance to FMA Act agencies on grant reporting requirements.
- 2009/05 – Commitments to spend public money (FMA Regulations 7-13) – provides guidance to help FMA Act agencies understand and comply with the Financial Management and Accountability Regulations 1997 (FMA Regulations) when making commitments to spend public money.
- 2007/01 – FMA Regulation 10 – provides guidance to FMA Act agencies detailing how to determine whether a spending proposal will require authorisation under Regulation 10 of the FMA Regulations and, if so, how to obtain that authorisation.
