Cyber Security and Authentication
The Department of Finance and Deregulation, through the Australian Government Information Management Office (AGIMO) in conjunction with the Privacy Commissioner, relevant security agencies and the Cross Jurisdictional Chief Information Officers Committee (CJCIOC), is assisting government agencies in understanding and implementing ICT security and privacy requirements.
Secure Networks provided by Finance
AGIMO’s Government Network Services Branch works closely with agencies, other tiers of government and the ICT industry to enhance the security of government information and ICT Network systems.
Cyber Security
AGIMO’s Cyber Security Branch manages initiatives to improve Australian Government agencies’ cyber security preparedness to meet cyber threats while supporting Government service delivery.
Authentication and Identity Management
AGIMO’s Cyber Security Branch develops frameworks, tools and advice on all aspects of Authentication and Identity Management.
