ICON Governance Structure

A governance structure has been established to ensure adequate management and control over the direction, decisions and performance of the ICON service. The governance structure comprises of the following groups:

• The Shared Communications Services Governance Committee
• Chief Information Officer Committee (CIOC)
• Secretaries’ Committee on Information and Communication Technology (SCICT)
• AGIMO ICON team
• Financial and eSolutions Group (FeSG)
• ICON User Group (IUG).

In addition to these groups, it is important to identify the Defence Signals Directorate (DSD) and the Australian Security and Intelligence Organisation (ASIO T4), which provides specialist security advice relating to ICON.
