‘Delivering Open Government’
Background
The eGovernment Forum is a highlight event of CeBIT Australia’s Global Conference Program, consistently drawing high-level participation and attendance from all spheres of Government involved in setting Australia’s future technology agenda.
Held in May each year in Sydney, Australia; the Forum is a partnership venture coordinated by the Australian Government Information Office (AGIMO) within the Department of Finance and Deregulation and Hannover Fairs Australia. It is Australia’s premier summit linking government to the ICT industry. The Forum usually opens with a Ministerial Address. In 2010 the Forum will be opened by the Minister for Finance and Deregulation the Hon Lindsay Tanner, MP. Other speakers include senior officials, as well as international and nationally recognised technology specialists. There will be panel discussions, as well as question and answer sessions, which will enable delegates to participate, compare notes, swap strategies and forge contacts across all spheres of the Australian Government’s ICT industry.
Topics for 2010
