eGovernment Forum 2007
A one-day eGovernment Forum was held on 2 May 2007 as part of CeBIT Australia 2007 at the Sydney Exhibition and Convention Centre, Darling Harbour.
The Forum featured Australian and international speakers discussing the latest ICT developments in areas such as creating greater value for citizens; IT standards and systems; investment in education, skills, research and development; and spatially enabled government.

Excellence in eGovernment Award (e-Award) 2007
The Excellence in eGovernment Award (e-Award) was introduced in 2006 by the Australian Government. The e-Award recognises and rewards the most outstanding project in eGovernment, based on the impact it has had on the lives of Australian citizens, the community and business.
Presentations to the winners were made by the then Special Minister of State, the Hon. Gary Nairn MP at an ICT Celebration Dinner on Wednesday, 2 May 2007.
