A one-day e-Government Forum was held on 2 May 2007 as part of CeBIT Australia 2007 at the Sydney Exhibition and Convention Centre, Darling Harbour.

The Excellence in e-Government Award (e-Award) was introduced in 2006 by the Australian Government. The e-Award recognises and rewards the most outstanding project in e-government, based on the impact it has had on the lives of Australian citizens, the community and business.
