Excellence in e-Government Award (e-Award)

‘Inspiring agencies to excel and achieve’

The Excellence in e-Government Award (e-Award) was introduced in 2006 by the Australian Government to promote excellence in the use of information and communications technology (ICT) in all spheres of government throughout Australia.

Each year nominations are sought from Australian, state, territory and local governments for outstanding ICT initiatives implemented in the past two years, based on the positive impact they have had on citizens, business and government.

The Excellence in e-Government Award is presented at the ICT Celebration Dinner held at CeBIT Australia in May each year.
