Comcover Training 2013
Option one - Comcover Workshops
Comcover will continue to provide face to face training in 2013. These workshops will commence in March 2013. The schedule for Semester One or register for one of these workshops can be viewed at the Comcover Training Schedule.
Option Two - Use Comcover Course material to conduct in-house risk management courses
Comcover is currently reviewing and updating its suite of risk management courses. This material will be made available to agencies to deliver in-house risk management training through their own training arrangements. Course material will include:
- A Participant's Guide;
- A Participant's Journal; and
- Facilitator notes.
A key benefit to this approach is that Fund Member agencies can provide risk management training to staff and be confident that that the course material is up-to-date and complies with relevant legislation, regulation and better practice information.
For those agencies with in-house training expertise it will now be possible to tailor training specific to your agency.
Option Three - Access the Department of Finance and Deregulation Training Panel
The Department of Finance and Deregulation has established a panel of training consultants to deliver training services on behalf of the Department (the Finance Training Panel). While agencies will be required to meet the costs of engaging a training consultant to deliver in-house risk management training, the service providers under the Panel will use Comcover approved content and will be able to tailor and enhance this content to include agency specific processes and case studies.
