The Central Budget Management System (CBMS)

CBMS is the system used to manage the flow of financial information between Finance and Australian Government agencies to facilitate agency cash and appropriation management, the preparation of budget documentation and financial reporting.

CBMS modules are used for Appropriation and Cash Management (ACM), Annual Estimates updates (BEAM), Monthly Estimates Profiles (BEAM), Monthly Reporting (BEAM) and recording of Budget pressures and measures (BPCD). It is expected that Annual Financial Reporting (BEAM) will be conducted in CBMS from the 2009-10 financial year.
