Hi all,

On Monday 21 August I released the PEMS EOI for your response by Friday 15 September 2017.

We have received the following request for clarification.

Question:
Could the Department advise if the organisation who won the recent DTA Marketplace Opportunity #513 for PEMS User Research Services will be excluded from submitting a response to the EOI? If not, will that organisation have a competitive advantage over other potential organisations, and will the user research that is currently being undertaken be released so that it can be considered by potential responders to the EOI?

Response:
Please refer to Attachment H – Respondent’s Declaration section 6 (b) and (c) which requires that all EOI respondents declare any perceived or actual conflict of interest. The intent of the EOI is to inform the solution and provide tender quality pricing for the second pass business case.

The User Research activities will still be in progress on 15/09/17, the response date for the EOI, and will not be available for consideration by potential responders to the EOI. Outcomes of the User Research will be communicated and made available to industry prior to any subsequent RFP.

This question and response will also be released on AusTender. If you have any further questions, please contact AusPEMS@finance.gov.au.

John
