Commonwealth Contracting Suite – now available for contracts up to $1 million

Finance has expanded the capability of its Commonwealth Contracting Suite (CCS).

CCS was originally designed for low value contracts (up to $200,000), but in response to demand, we have updated CCS so it can be used for contracts valued up to $1 million.

This improvement enables approximately 9,000 more government contracts to be completed using standard terms and conditions each year.

This initiative cuts down costs in tendering and contracting for both businesses and for Commonwealth entities. It is particularly helpful for Small to Medium Enterprises who regularly compete for lower value Commonwealth contracts.

This update incorporates feedback from over 30 businesses and entities received during our recent public consultation (Procurement Coordinator's Blog).

CCS is accessible across a range of devices, and uses smart forms to make it easy to build a simple contract.

For more information on the CCS, please see our website http://www.finance.gov.au/procurement, or contact my team at ccsdesk@finance.gov.au.
