Asset Sales

Asset Sales output covers the management of, and the provision of advice to The Government on major asset sales.

Finance is currently responsible for the Sale of ASC Pty Ltd.

Generally, there are two types of assets sales:

1. Trade sale – sale by way of tender (eg ADI Limited, Sydney Airports Corporation Limited); and
2. Public Float – sale to institutional and retail investors of shares in a company which is listed, or subsequently listed, on a securitites exchange (eg Commonwealth Bank, Telstra).
