Finance’s Vacation Program has two intakes per year which run through the mid-year winter and end-of-year summer holidays.
We are looking for students who are keen to gain experience during their break. Students will need to meet the following criteria:

There may be opportunities for successful candidates to also work part-time during the year on a non-ongoing basis.

The positions are based in Canberra and successful interstate candidates will be responsible for their own travel, accommodation and associated costs.

The Program allows university students to develop valuable work experience within the Australian Public Service and provides an avenue to encourage students to continue employment with Finance (via the Finance Graduate Program) once their studies have been completed.

The Program is advertised in May (Winter) and October (Summer) on the Finance Internet, in Mycareer, Seek and on appropriate university websites.
